Their experiences in the Community have led many community members to engage in work and action that affects the world at large. Some still live here at Findhorn, while others have moved across the world. Their impact may be local or global. This section presents stories of their projects.
On leaving in 1983 I was told "You will really understand the Findhorn Community when you are over 60 years old."

During the Spirit of Healing Conference in 1987 Sir George Trevelyan shared the history of the Lamplighter Movement founded by Major Wellesley Tudor Pole following his initiative of the Silent Minute during World War II.

In 2013 I was honoured to serve as master of ceremonies for the evening at the Universal Hall, celebrating the Findhorn Foundation's role as a global force for positive change, when we reported on WILD10, the 10th World Wilderness Congress.
The idea of offering a French Experience Week "like at Findhorn" was born when Chantal Godron - Resource Person and one of "my" 😉 former LCGs - went back home after celebrating 2024 New Year at Findhorn with Barbara, Fabien & Co.
These young people came from a different starting point than me, but they have the same power of self- efficacy inside. I believe it to the core because if I can do it, anybody can. We humans are so full of potential.
Katherine had lived here for 21 years, but for 14 years before that she was a Findhorn beacon in South Africa. After her first visit to the community in 1972, she began a Friends of Findhorn Group in Cape Town
