Reflecting on my journey through social activism, life in the Ecovillage Findhorn, and the practice of Buddhism, I am reminded of the profound impact each dimension has had on my life.

Fay was an incredible community weaver. Given her deep involvement in so many aspects of this community, any tribute can only scratch the surface of the deep appreciation we want to express here.
We are moving out of the ‘delightful yet overwhelming’ initial phase of poking around cupboards and diving straight into the physical, tangible work of building a centralised home for our history.
On leaving in 1983 I was told "You will really understand the Findhorn Community when you are over 60 years old."
As the first archivist this community has hired from the outside, I feel a push and pull: I want to step back slightly to maintain a professional, removed stance for the work, yet I feel a deep need to immerse myself in the community to truly do justice to its history.
