Fay was an incredible community weaver. Given her deep involvement in so many aspects of this community, any tribute can only scratch the surface of the deep appreciation we want to express here.
We are moving out of the ‘delightful yet overwhelming’ initial phase of poking around cupboards and diving straight into the physical, tangible work of building a centralised home for our history.
On leaving in 1983 I was told "You will really understand the Findhorn Community when you are over 60 years old."
As the first archivist this community has hired from the outside, I feel a push and pull: I want to step back slightly to maintain a professional, removed stance for the work, yet I feel a deep need to immerse myself in the community to truly do justice to its history.
How I came to Findhorn, my involvement with conferences, Trustees, Fellow, The Quest and the Findhorn College.

Findhorn was such a foundational piece of my childhood. There were a lot of wonderful people at Findhorn. Two particularly memorable. Many, many years later I found out that one was famous. His name: Burt Lancaster.
Nature was always my primary spiritual teacher. As a National Park Ranger, I saw myself as a bridge, helping people connect with and love the land so they would instinctively protect it
Altogether I worked in Cullerne Gardens for 13 years, pretty much 5 days a week, 6 hours a day, 11 of those years with Fred.
