The idea of offering a French Experience Week "like at Findhorn" was born when Chantal Godron - Resource Person and one of "my" 😉 former LCGs - went back home after celebrating 2024 New Year at Findhorn with Barbara, Fabien & Co.
In 2026 we will be opening up to new members. Ideally it would be a couple with (or without) children, at least one of whom would have the time, energy and desire to continue to develop and caretake this place.
These young people came from a different starting point than me, but they have the same power of self- efficacy inside. I believe it to the core because if I can do it, anybody can. We humans are so full of potential.

On the 19th September 2025 we gathered at Drumduan to celebrate the wonderful gift of 40 years of conscious education for our children and young people.
The symbol of the Firebird is a significant as a title and metaphor in the documentary, as for me, it represents the element of fire and the transformative energies of love and hope.
I wrote this story in a collaborative bonanza with many community members(1) as a contribution to the GEN 30th Anniversary book (first edition) - GEN Europe which celebrates the phenomenal achievements of the Global Ecovillage
My journey from Mumbai to Findhorn was a quest for community. I share how my dreams manifested in a place where I felt truly seen and loved.
