During the Community Gathering 2025, Tim Slack and myself led a session of Appreciative Inquiry looking at the SOAR (Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, Resources/Results). This post describes the session and invites your participation.
The chronicle was collated for the Findhorn Gardner's Library at Cullerne House in June 1984. It covers the early days, through the tree plantings in Pineridge, Cullerne and Caravan Park up to 1984.
In 2023 I was asked to undertake a strategic ecological assessment of the Park as part of a Strategic Framework and Phasing Plan for the Park Ecovillage Findhorn.
Over the last 30+ years working in the community, I've learned a great deal about community development. Much of this learning has been hard-earned, but all of it has been incredibly rewarding.

Who am I to write about this Community? I continue to cherish my time living here as being the happiest and most meaningful time in my life. That may not qualify me to pontificate but it just might in the eyes of the adjudicators out there, so I thought I would take a chance.
