About Anniese Worth Giuntini

I live very simply in this land I love. On returning to the area with my daughter Jade, I found joy in volunteering in the life of the Community; until Covid, then everything changed.

Came to the Findhorn Foundation Community: I came with my then partner Michael and our daughter Ruby in March 1971
Left the Findhorn Foundation Community: 1981.
Areas of involvement with the Findhorn Foundation Community: Theatre Arts, Education, Craftshop, Candle Studio, Catering, Play group. We lived at Pineridge and later Findhorn Village.
Community leadership: I co-focalised Theatre Arts Projects; performance and workshops 1974/1978. Focalised the Craftshop 1976/1978. Focalised Cluny Library 1996 until 2019.
Experience in the community affected your work in the world: Those years in community enriched my life in every respect, giving me strength to deal creatively with the challenges of the following decades.

There is not a great deal to be said about a room full of books other than its ability to inform and inspire, its literary reach and broad base of content. So, please indulge me as I can only write about the library in the context of Cluny itself, the marvellous Victorian house, devoted resident staff, glorious setting, its function and a little about how the library impacted my life over those years.

Putting up resistance in the face of difficulty only makes it worse, let it be, accept it, and no matter how hard, the key to changing it – is to love – that’s all you need. By our own power we can do nothing but be a channel, its love that loves through us; to put aside the ego, the small self (that always seeks retaliation) is to be a channel for love.
