***
A human ecology that is sustainable spiritually, culturally, economically and ecologically; that expresses our essential relationship and connectedness to spirit and nature through its forms and structures.
Planetary because it highlights our awareness and participation in the evolutionary expansion of consciousness throughout the planetary system. An awareness that humanity is not separate from the rest of nature, but is is interdependent and interconnected with all life on our planet: Gaia.
Village because it marks our transition from an extended family/community to a diverse and interactive village organization. As with a traditional village we are developing a broader economic base, greater interaction with the local area and more reliance on the land that supports our very existence.
Came to Findhorn for the full curriculum and found my life’s work on developing sustainable regenerative human settlements through the ecovillage movement. Lived in Findhorn for more than 26 years.
