For the 6oth Birthday of the community in 2022, we decided to give the Park Eco-Tour a thorough overhaul. John Talbott created the first Eco-Tour of The Park in 1995 as a guide for community members leading tours. This document was regularly updated.
It functioned as a supplement to the Visitor Guide with the specific focus on sustainability and the ecological features of the settlement.
Building on that and expanding it significantly we created an self-guided tour with an image and an audio clip for each of the 68 stops on the tour.

The 68 stops Audio Tour is divided into sections of 10 stops, shown on the top of the page. To take the tour click on a section, scroll down to find the list of stops in each section below the map.
Given the fast pace of change in the ecovillage, the guide was out-of-date almost as soon as it was complete. Nonetheless we feel that it is a great snapshot in time, and timeless in many ways. We hope that you will enjoy this tour either in the comfort of your own home, or when walking through the Park Ecovillage Findhorn.

I’m a sustainability educator, mother of Taran our dear 16 year old, my business in Australia was in corporate leadership development but my work here (back in community since August 2021) is currently more in the area of my PhD, addressing the climate crisis in inner and outer realms. LOVE being back in Scotland and back in the community.
