At the most fundamental level, families have shaped this community from the beginning – from the Caddys to the present. From the 70s onwards, an increasing number of families brought their specific needs and gifts, creating as a result the family house, play groups, the community school and much more. From the 1980s, the Youth Project provided a way for teenagers to come together and shape their community experience.
Meanwhile the Community consists of neighbourhoods that have their own energy – in the Park in particular but in surrounding areas too. Groups form around a common purpose, while rather more formal associations of stakeholders have been established to address common interests, or attend to a shared responsibility. Here you can read about them all.
