On Friday 11th March 2023 a cast of community members performed THE RED BALL play. To watch it online you will need the pass code: F1b7!Pi9eQ

This play by Laura Pasetti and cast was the first big event of the year to celebrate the six decades of the spiritual community at Findhorn. It is a story of a community, told by a community. The topic is very relevant today; it is about collective identity, relationship, conflict and finding a way forward despite differences. On stage were 12 community performers, the youngest 10 and the eldest 80. Following two postponements due to the pandemic, the work was finally presented on 11 March.

“One day, a well-established community with 12 members is hit by a sudden tragic event that threatens everything they believe in and everything they are. As they slowly realise that their lives will never be the same again, they also become aware that they are not as strong as they thought nor as connected with each other as they thought. Consequences escalate, lies come to the surface and the pain cannot be denied any longer… Will the community dissolve?

As every crisis brings a gift, their gift is just there, closer than they think… if only they could manage to see it…”
