Writing in the "Alternative Technology" magazine Undercurrents, ecological pioneer John Seymour (1914-2004) strongly criticised a number of attitudes to organic husbandry, especially the practice employed at the Findhorn Community, of communicating directly with the nature forces. Richard Elen asked Dick Barton, a member of the community 'core group' or governing collective, how he felt about the methods used at Findhorn, and criticisms of them. The interview appeared in Undercurrents 19, December 1976-January 1977.
