On 25th February 2026 we received this sad news from Rosalind, Cally Miller‘s daughter:
“It is with a heavy heart that I have to let you know that Cally passed away peacefully in her sleep yesterday morning. We like to think that she’s now with Harley, floating around, having a wonderful time together again at last. Although mum’s passing was expected, it is still very sad and will leave a hole in our lives for a while yet.”
Cally touched so many people in her decades of living in and around the Community. We have set up this post so that those who want to, can share their memories by leaving a Comment at the bottom of this post. If you have photos, please click here to get in touch and we’ll arrange a way for you to send them.

Hugh Andrews wrote this beautiful post in 2024 sharing his reflections on NewBold House and on some of Cally and Harley’s other many creative ventures.

Cornelia Featherstone: Cally co-focalised the Orientation programme in 1988 and our paths crossed repeatedly over the years.

In 2018 we had a fabulous 30-year reunion and it was such a joy to spend so much time with Cally then. We had hybrid meetings so that those who were here in person could meet up with everyone else on Zoom.

We did outings and work shifts together and generally had a fabulous time. Cally even booked herself into a caravan in the Findhorn Bay Holiday Park for some days to be fully immersed in the experience.

I have very fond memories of Cally. When I joined the Community in the early 90’s, she was offering a fabulous practice: Cutting the Ties that Bind. I just had one session with her, yet I appreciate her kindness, generosity of spirit, and genuine interest in supporting me as a then very young Community member.
Thank you Cally! May peace be with you.

Cally was a warm and supportive focaliser for our 1988 Orientation programme. It was lovely to reconnect with her at the 30th reunion that Cornelia described. Cally contributed a huge amount to our community and I’m glad to have known her.

Harley, Cally (then Margaret), Hugh Andrews, Yvonne (now Silvia/ Shana han) and I were in Experience Week at the same time in 1977. Cally and I focalised an Essence of Findhorn 13-week programme in 1986/7. Lots of strong participants. I felt that we did very well. Included was a week on Erraid, several weeks based at the Park, and several weeks at Cluny.

Cally and Harley were dynamic and inspirational to the pioneer growth of the Community, as beauty transforms us; so did Newbold; esoterically its intrinsic value is of the major alchemical arcana of change and transformation and Cally anchored that in her service to us all; and to the programs she mastered; bless you on your journey sister; we love and hold your family in peace; xoxoMonocle
