I’m excited to share the second (of four) short documentary films about how people in Ecovillage Findhorn experience and cocreate with nature.

HAVEN follows Kajedo, the land steward of the Findhorn Hinterland Trust in Northeast Scotland, in how he approaches ‘deep listening to the land’, and leads a small group of volunteers in taking actions to increase biodiversity in a desert ecosystem.

Directed, Filmed, Produced and Edited by Kelsey D Grubbs.
Featuring Kajedo Wanderer, Fern Walker, Christopher Latini, John Albar.

This film was made as part of Kelsey D Grubbs’ doctoral research in social anthropology at the University of Edinburgh.

*This is a very low-budget film. Please excuse the sound challenges we had.

The other films in the series:

“Ecotheatre-Home” featuring Laura Pasetti. During a summer camp five teenagers play, reconnect with nature, and reclaim their identities with nature amidst the teen angst years and planetary crises. Ecotheatre is not just about performing with nature. It is a journey home.
