I made this video during a digital storytelling course with Daniel Greenberg in the context of creating Findhorn Journey stories for the 60th Birthday of the Community on 17th November 2022. It talks about my life and my personal journey coming to Findhorn. I share a bit about the God of my understanding, and how all this relates to the Celebrating One Incredible Family project.
The soundtrack to the clip is Von Guten Mächten wunderbar geborgen performed by Siegfried Fietz.
The lyrics of the song are from a poem written in prison by Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a German theologian and anti-Nazi dissident, for New Year 1944. Bonhoeffer was murdered in a concentration camp by the SS on 9th April 1945 just before the Nazi regime collapsed. I found an English translation which I like, here. My thanks to Hilmar Werner for the permission to share it on the website.
Originally German, I came to Findhorn in the search of ‘It’. I found ‘It’ in our way of sharing our spirituality in our daily lives, privileged to work with my focus on Healing in the widest sense.
