Findhorn as an Inspiration
for My Work

The Findhorn Foundation has been a magical place for me since my first time there in 1998. I had attended a psychosynthesis conference in San Diego where I met David Platts. While on a trip to Italy the following year, I read Choosing to Love by Eileen Caddy and David, and also saw a lot about a place I’d never heard of — Findhorn Foundation.

I contacted David, who arranged my Experience Week in Cluny. I had very little money, but I love books and so I went into Cluny shop. One very interesting book — Builders of the Dawn — was too expensive so I put it back, but after a while something drew me to it again. It opened at the same place, a chapter called Education for the Future. The same name as my Association. It said: If you can dream it, you can do it. I bought it without any hesitation.

I returned for conferences and the Ecovillage Training, which were very important for my understanding of spirituality and ecology, and for my work in Poland. Since 1999 I have been a Resource Person for the Findhorn Foundation, providing information to people who are interested in going there. But the most valuable and important thing for me is the spirit of Findhorn. Its atmosphere, work, love in action — something invisible, on a quantum level of energy. I am a very sensitive person so I catch it, and it touches my heart.

I have visited Findhorn twice as an RP, and in 2010 participated in the Planetary Game. I found myself crying when my group sang ABBA’s I Have a Dream. Now I really know, as the book said — If I can dream it, I can do it.
