The Community has examined, and in many cases implemented, both innovative and traditional economic models during its existence. These include Blue Money (the Foundation allowance system), the Savings Club, LETS (Local Exchange and Trading System), a local currency in the Eko, and a community benefit co-operative (Ekopia).
