Eileen's letter on moneyMy dear Family

As I sat listening to the Community’s budget at the meeting on Wednesday morning, I was full of admiration and gratitude at all the work those concerned have done to clarify for the Foundation members what is taking place financially. But being me, I also felt how complex the Foundation has become.

Also as I looked at the various figures, plus and minus, I felt ‘that is not very much’; and that it is time we all started thinking in millions of pounds. To think Abundance. Do you feel that is being foolish and unreal? It is not, it is the way it works in this spiritual life.

When we first came to the Caravan Park we had nothing, we were on the dole. The £8 from the dole and the £1.50 from the Family Allowance would be put into a bowl on the mantelpiece, and everything had to be paid out of that. If wehad 1p left at the end of the week, that was quite something! There were many times I wondered how we would get through the week.

Then gradually my thinking began to change and I started to think in pounds instead of pence, then in £5 and £10, we did not have any more money. But I saw that all our needs were being met. I then started to think in hundreds of pounds, and even thousands. I found my consciousness expanding. I now think
in millions of pounds. So as I sat and looked at the budget figures. I really felt ‘that is not very much’ and I meant it.

When all of us can think in millions of pounds we will draw millions of pounds to us. Then we will need ‘wisdom’ as to the use of those millions of pounds.

Could we start right now expanding our consciousness to help bring this about? Let us dig a deep hole and put that consciousness of lack and limitation into it and cover it up and banish it forever, and fill our consciousnesses with Abundance, with Plenty. I believe the word Findhorn means the ‘Horn of Plenty’. It is all there let us draw it to us.

Also let us be good stewards with all we have. We are so blest, let us give constant thanks for everything and take nothing for granted. Let us expand in joy.

With love and blessings,
