What role for the Community in the carbon neutral future of the 21st century?
During the 60th Birthday Celebrations in November 2022 we met to explore the community’s legacy as pioneers and innovators in the liminal space between humans and nature.
In the past our eco credentials in the built environment were second to none, and our approach to working with the intelligence of Nature was deemed uncommon.
However the world has caught up and Gaia is calling the community to the next level.
The 60th Birthday provided an opportune moment to collectively ask, what next?
This event was organised by Sam Graham, Marilyn Hamilton and Roger Doudna. It includes the physical theatre piece Finding Petunia Little Tree by Sharon Took-Zozaya. I’m a sustainability educator, mother of Taran our dear 16 year old, my business in Australia was in corporate leadership development but my work here (back in community since August 2021) is currently more in the area of my PhD, addressing the climate crisis in inner and outer realms. LOVE being back in Scotland and back in the community.
