Hello everyone, here’s a copy of the diary notes I wrote during the five days I stayed at Cluny – the final week before it closed its doors to guests, a week that was full of emotions, with a few tears shed here and there when reflecting on all the special moments I’d experienced over the years and especially when saying goodbye to many kindred souls I’ve grown to love.

Much to my surprise and delight, having visited Findhorn at least once every year since 1978 hoping to see the northern lights, I was blessed with an appearance on the evening that I arrived – it wasn’t a full blown multicoloured display but did feel content after watching the descent of a vast green curtain extending as far as the eye could see, and even though I’d set off from home at 4am that Monday morning, and had driven 450 miles to Cluny, I did muster the energy to skip back across the sand dunes at 10pm to where I’d parked my car!

Tuesday was a day of reflection, and began with a walk in Cluny’s Garden and a turn in the spiral near to the road, and ended after walking around another spiral on the hill above Cluny, taking time at each location to meditate and express appreciation and love for the nature kingdom which, from previous experiences, seemed as though I was being prepared – for what I wondered?

On Tuesday afternoon I was prompted to visit Rudolf and his family who live in the Park, but instead, joined a ‘special’ meditation session in the Nature Sanctuary. I would have missed the session but for one of those synchronicities Findhorn is famous for when literally crossing paths with Joy Drake who invited me to join in the meditation. I initially hesitated and explained to Joy that I was on the way to see Rudolf, but became convinced that a detour to the Nature Sanctuary was ‘meant to be’ when she informed me that Rudolf was confined to bed due to illness!

Of course it was meant to be as the Nature Sanctuary experience became one of the weeks highlights, with an answer given to a question I’d held in mind since witnessing the birth of an Angel at the New Sanctuary Blessing Ceremony at the 60th Birthday Celebrations – why had a new Angel been born, what was its purpose? – Here’s the link to the full story back then: https://celebratingoneincrediblefamily.org/the-interdimensional-blessing-the-new-sanctuary-site

Joy guided the meditation, her gentle words soon opening the portals to the inner realms which revealed to my awareness, a beautiful face I knew instantly to be the New Sanctuary Angel, who conveyed the following message:

‘’I am born of the love and compassion directed to the nature kingdom, and in this way, follow in the footsteps of who you call the Angel of Findhorn who came to form a bridge between our two worlds and has now spread its wings to include the whole of humanity. My role is to overlight the New Sanctuary, to bless all who enter its sacred space, and to quicken the day when  ‘heaven is precipitated upon earth’’.

Left within a cloud of love, as I always am after such an encounter, I had the answer as to why I’d spent the morning attuning to the Nature Kingdom and all too soon Joy’s words guided us gently back into the present where we shared our stories of delight.

What is so beautiful about this group is its resolve to meditate in the Nature Sanctuary every Tuesday with the vision of keeping alive the Spirit of Findhorn and its Covenant, which I also promise to do to the best of my ability in whatever way I’m guided.

On Wednesday morning I was invited to join the Co-worker meeting in the Beechtree room at Cluny where I met Terry Gilbey ‘non electronically’ for the very first time – it was to be the final co-worker meeting and after being introduced, sat quietly to one side as the hosts related what was to unfold leading up to the closing of Cluny. Both at that time, and during the face to face meeting I had with Terry the next day, it was reiterated that various ideas were being researched into ways in which Cluny could be re-opened.

On a more positive note, as the co-worker meeting drew to a close, I took the opportunity to introduce the RP Network, and to the amusement of everyone present, insisted that no one was to leave the room without signing up to become a Resource Person!

On Wednesday afternoon, RP’s who were visiting or lived locally, joined me at a Mini RP gathering at the Phoenix Café. Thanks to Larry and Maureen McSweeney, Sarah Trevelyan, and Roy Simpson who took part in what became a lively and insightful discussion with lots of ideas generated to add to an understanding of how the FF could help RPs develop and expand the Findhorn Spirit around the world. This direct contact was a big help when presenting RP needs to Terry Gilbey at our one-to-one meeting the following afternoon.

After our very constructive meeting, Roy invited me to his new home for a coffee – he’d moved into his beautiful home just two weeks before, and it was so heartening to learn that Roy was enjoying every minute of living in the community. Afterwards, we walked across to the Universal Hall to join in the Whole Community Meditation which was a special session celebrating the Harvest Festival led into with Craig playing his didgeridoo.

On Wednesday evening I’d scheduled a Zoom session with one of the ongoing ‘Creative Meditation’ classes I’ve been holding for the past forty years so was quite whacked, but feeling very content when climbing into my bed that evening!

Thursday’s meeting with Terry was described in detail in the last RP Newsletter with our suggestions as to ‘How can the Findhorn Foundation help the Resource People hold, support and grow the networks of light’ which are being actioned so far with a definite flow of information and cross communication beginning to take place.

Was able to share the outcome of the meeting with Terry at length with those who joined our regular RP Zoom Meditation session later that day.

Friday was dedicated to saying goodbye to everyone with the final meal spent in relative silence and sharing contact details with those who were soon to leave and to top off the week, took part in a video recording session describing the reason for ”Loving the Findhorn Foundation.’’

Thank you Cluny, thank you Findhorn Foundation

Much Love to all
