We are pleased to present, with permission from the BBC, a special edition of the 1970s BBC Television weekend chat show, “Mainly Magnus”, hosted by Icelandic television presenter the late Magnus Magnusson. Broadcast on BBC One Scotland on Sunday, January 14th 1973, this episode came from the Community Centre at the heart of the Findhorn Foundation Community. The programme included discussions with Community founders Peter & Eileen Caddy and Dorothy Maclean, with David Spangler, R Ogilvie Crombie (“ROC”), Sir George Trevelyan and with Peter Tompkins, co-author of the book, The Secret Life of Plants. The conversations focused on the Findhorn Garden and working with nature and the nature spirits. Interludes of music and dance were provided by the New Troubadours, and Craig Gibsone dancing with Lark Batteau.
