At the beginning of September Karin Werner led an entrance meditation for the weekly Elders Meditation and read this poem that wrote itself through me in the same Cluny Sanctuary in the mid 70’s … almost 50 years ago!

Then it heralded another intense and turbulent time of change for the Community and for me as our spiritual schooling deepened and I began to give voice, my voice to the impulses of the sacred as they flowed to me and through me and the Game of Transformation seeds were fertilised within.

So it was wonderful and heartwarming to listen as these words boomeranged back to reverberate once again through me and our Community, fresh and alive, just as the Findhorn Foundation co-workers were meeting in the Beech Tree Room to work through the implications of the announcement that the charity was winding down its operations.

I truly feel graced and blessed to be here at this turn of the spiral. I know one of the reasons I came back to live in the Community is to take my contribution up a notch so I can bring an undiluted, potent, steady, wise and timely presence that’s holding fast to the spiritual core and supporting the changes that are happening for the Findhorn Foundation and Community.

I’m posting this particular invocation now because I feel that its theme fits well with our current changes and clearing the way so Angels of Adventure, Authenticity, Transformation and Presence can find willing feet through us.

LET GO

we are each involved
in the most intimate, penetrating, revealing relationship
constantly exposing us
drawing us up
drawing us closer
to one another, to the divine
we are asked to let the highest emerge and are given the vision to see clearly
any attachments or dependencies that might be getting in the way
and offered the opportunity to release them and unclutter our lives
it means letting go and moving with new impulses
experiencing new ways of being ourselves
new ways of knowing each other
now there is the possibility to understand
our humanity through our divinity
our divinity through our humanity
our wholeness through our willingness and openness
may receptivity to the new fill this group
may we let go and allow the highest to emerge
