Hans Poulsen (1945–2023) was an Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist best known for his work in the late 1960s and early ’70s pop scene. Drawn by the Park Ecovillage Findhorn community’s emphasis on inner listening, co-creation with nature, and service, Poulsen contributed significantly to its cultural and musical life. While at Findhorn, he composed a number of devotional and community songs that blended his melodic sensibility with lyrics inspired by the group’s spiritual ethos. His music was often performed at community gatherings, meditations, and celebrations, becoming part of the soundtrack of life at Findhorn.

Among the best-known of his compositions from this period is “One Incredible Family”, an uplifting anthem that remains cherished by many who lived through or have been touched by the Community experience.

One Incredible Family – this is something like an anthem for the community.
