At a time of COP26 in Glasgow, this film takes a timely look at sustainability, as young people worldwide confront climate change and species extinction. It offers rare, intimate access to a community that has always prioritised planetary respect and sustainability over materialism. Amaya, Chloe and Jake describe their lives as ‘Community Kids’ where practices once considered unconventional—like chemical-free living, nature harmony, and recycling—have become normalised.

Through the eyes of three young people raised in and around the Park Ecovillage Findhorn, “Growing Up Green” provides a fresh perspective on living with an ingrained awareness of these vital elements.
