After months of labour, we are bringing in the harvest – for us this means that the Community Connections section of the website is going live.
We came to realise that Celebrating One Incredible Family was really a two-way street and so we followed the many promptings and took some time to develop the Community Connections section way beyond what we initially thought of as just the Newsletter section.
For the moment we have
- Our Newsletter (signup and an archive of previous editions)
- Join In – with the many different ways of co-creating community
- Contact Us – a heartfelt invitation to get in touch with us with your news, comments and anything else which comes to your mind.
And of course this section will evolve as the Community engages. Remember our guidance:
You have laid the foundations and put up the frame of the house.
It is now up to the Community to build the house.
So we await with anticipation what will emerge. All we know is that things will change. As Eileen Caddy always reminded us, change is the only thing that is certain.
Very importantly this section includes access to the Member Registration. We invite anyone who is part of One Incredible Family to join us as a member.
PS: As this Equinox Newsletter rolls ‘off the press’, we learn that for technical reasons Val, our wonderful web developer, has made the Community History section which is still under development also visible to you. Argh! panic …. and then surrender, to the fact that “all is very very well”….
There are still gaps and rough edges but this gives us the great opportunity to ask for your help in ironing out any issues early on in the process. So please report back to us any mistakes, broken links etc that you come across and start to make this website your own. Thank you for joining us at this early stage!
We couldn’t do it without you!
Inspired by CommUnity, a group of NFA volunteers, manages this website. Hearing each others stories, and learning about the history of this community can help us all to find more cohesion and a sense of belonging. Read more.<
