EarthShare
EarthShare, Moray’s First Community Supported Agriculture scheme was launched in spring 1994. Forty-five different kinds of fruit and vegetables were grown in open fields and in polytunnels and at Cullerne Garden. They were distributed via a weekly box to about 150 individuals and families as well as the Findhorn Foundation.
Subscribers had the option of being ‘hands on’ actively involved from time to time, promoting a direct link between consumer and producer.
Even though EarthShare ceased operation in 2011 for various reasons, it has inspired many people and enhanced the awareness UK-wide for local organic food and community farming.

Guest Authors are contributors who are not COIF members (for various reasons).
