When Cluny Hill Hotel started accepting bookings for overnight stays, I had the inspiration to book the whole hotel for two nights to invite friends and Community to my birthday party.

Thanks to many glorious synchronicities, and lots of helping hands, we had the joy of bringing lots of life and laughter back into Cluny.

We didn’t only celebrate my birthday but those of Ann McEllin and Susanne Olbrich. There were also opportunity for friends further afield to tune in – Taize Singing in the morning, and the Sharing in the Ballroom.

RJ was back in his usual place, the foyer right inside the front door, delighting anyone coming in and an attentive audience with is songs.

John O Akerman, a gifted professional photographer, documented much of the event and enchanted us with stunning images. One in particular blew us away: it was a very stormy squally day and John flew his drone above Cluny and returned this stunning circular rainbow around Cluny!
