We talk about many different aspects of my relationship to this Community and the local area:
– growing up in the early days of the community, as the son of two of the founders, on the land, in the forest, in the dunes and sea
– the spiritual principles, the ‘notes’ sounded from the beginning – in particular the one of giving back, of work in the world
– how the Findhorn Foundation and the Community around it has grown and changed at crucial junctures of its history, including the big changes that are happening right now
– my experience of setting up the Erraid Community on the Westcoast of Scotland in the late 1970s
– how my experiences of Community life and global travelling shaped my work as a teacher in Moray
– how my connection with the land continues to express itself through my work with the Findhorn Hinterland Trust
– and about my upcoming work with a local charity to support refugees and migrants in Moray, creating supportive structures to allow them to bring their skills and expertise to create empowered and meaningful lives.
