On Friday 3rd June we got together in a sun-drenched albeit blustery CC Garden to have some social time together. As so much of our work takes place in solitude on screens, and also spread across the planet, we felt the need to gather over a cuppa and some treats.

The gathering was lively and the potluck treats delectable. Thanks to Abdul’s cyber wizardry we also could experiment with ‘blended’ events by hosting a couple of team members on Zoom. Each one had a host aka phone bearer and they could be carried around to whomever they wanted to chat to. That was great fun and we increased our confidence that blended events could work really well, with imagination, creativity and of course the cyber skills which seem to come so easy to Young’uns. It was all so absorbing that we left it a bit late to take a group photo. So this one was taken when we were already clearing up and many had left, sorry.
