Our wedding was the last major event in the Universal Hall for over 2 years. On 14th March 2020, on the eve of the Covid Pandemic, many guests sent their apologies, and we had to have a hands-free ceilidh, but we just managed it. And we are very glad to say that no spike of infections occurred in the days thereafter when so little was known about this new phenomenon.

The Findhorn Foundation is able to hold legal weddings and Nicola Coombe was our wedding celebrant.

When you watch this video you can join us in our ceremony which we designed ourselves. Our vows remain alive within us, and the blessing by our Community sustains our marriage.

On the afternoon of our wedding day, our friend and brides’ maid, Patricia Andersson, had the strong impulse to video our wedding, as so many people sent their apologies with deep regret due to Covid concerns. It is thanks to her, and the amazing manifestation of the right equipment, that allowed us to record the ceremony, the ceilidh and the amazing sharing. What a gift – THANK YOU, Patricia!
