This is a bit of ‘reality TV’. I worked in the Visitor Centre for 10 years and I guided tours through the ecovillage, often several times a week.

This one in 2008 was filmed by one of the participants and I found it recently on YouTube. It comes in three parts.

It is not a great recording, and perhaps not my best performance, but it gives you a good sense of the tour and of the Park Ecovillage at the time. It also shows the impact the neighbouring RAF airbase had on our daily lives – something we may have forgotten now that the Nimrod planes have been gone for many years.
