“Maybe I was a ripe fruit for spirit to pick, remember and transform. It felt as if I had been put on a fast-track path. For decades prior, the interest in spirituality, mainly Buddhism, had gone hand in hand with ordinary life, work and single motherhood. Some would call this character building, and in some sense it was.
Eventually the soul prompted: “When are you going to take this seriously, you are meant to, so don’t waste any more time.”
And so, I did and have no regrets whatsoever, even though I lost my standing in society, my home and my financial security. The inner rewards cannot be measured.”
