In a wide ranging conversation Callum and Alex talk to Fi about their music, their Findhorn Journey, and gender identity.

Fi came to Findhorn aged 19 as part of a study-abroad programme. They waited for 11 years until they were no longer obsessed about coming back and returned to live here 2 years ago. Working in four different departments in the Findhorn Foundation, they found their best match in Education. They love facilitating Experience Week, witnessing how participants get a lot from it, and so the announcement of the Findhorn Foundation came as a surprise/shock. As their Visa is dependent on their job this means that they lose not only their employment, but also their community.

Fi identifies as a non-binary person and shares their insights into the fundamental challenge to our worldview when we step beyond the preconceived ideas about a person. Whilst this is asking a lot of all involved, this change of perception and belief can allow a deepened and more authentic relationship to self and others.

In the interview we are treated to four songs by Fi, one for each Eileen Caddy, Dorothy Maclean and Peter Caddy and at the end Where Goes the Light, a poignant reflection inspired by a total solar eclipse.
