In about 1978, when I looked around the Community I saw talented people everywhere, under caravans fixing leaking pipes, bus drivers, dustbin workers, etc. I asked myself  “what is different about these people?” I was amazed at how many stories of inspiration came out of them.

  • The dustbin man happened to be a millionaire before he came to Findhorn and put on rugged manual workers’ clothes.
  • Their laughter had stories to tell.
  • Their simplicity spoke to me.

I got inspired to start the Rainbow Bridge*) with some others and instead of the one page news from the office, I included news of people’s backgrounds and motivations. I also visited and wrote about, what was happening on the island of Erraid.

I wrote first hand about my spiritual experiences with machines in the collating department in the Findhorn Publications building. I knew next to nothing about machines. There was a rumour going around that I was having an affair with machines as I even spent nights there!! It got so serious that I asked Linda Morris if she could teach me how to get a girlfriend. She said no, because she already had a partner.

RAINBOW BRIDGE 7 SECTIONS

I saw 7 rainbow sections building bridges of communication between the 7 aspects of the Findhorn Community.

Violet – To connect to news on healing, health apothecary

Indigo – To connect to Unity in Diversity. News of surrounding centres and networking.

Blue – To connect to Clarity- Findhorn management news with clarity and precision

Green – To connect to Harmony – news from the Findhorn Garden

Yellow – To connect to Wisdom – news from down to earth workers dotted around the community often unseen but inspirational

Orange – To connect to Humour – I encouraged cartoonists to contribute in the Rainbow Bridge as well as bringing in the humor from the Community’s Friday Sharing nights.

Rose Red To connect to Love – Family news, birthdays, travel announcements, new members introductions

The above 7 sections connected to my drawings of the 7 rainbow beings who helped manage the smooth running of the 7 kitchen clean up groups I was focalising (see below).

COLOUR SCIENCE BEINGS OF LIGHT**)

Stories in the Rainbow Bridge started containing my discoveries of oneness with Collette the collating machine, how the machine and I manifested two beautiful human beings who helped to repair Collette by placing their hands on her in attunement.

The night before, I was trying to figure out why she was not working well collating the One Earth magazine sheets. The following morning I was still having problems collating. That morning the Guest Department had sent me these two ladies, one an Australian and the other an American, for their work experience. Now what was weird was that they were both dressed in the colours of Collette !!! The upper half of Collette was mirrored in one of the ladies and the lower half in the other. Before starting a work shift we usually did an attunement by holding hands with each other, but this time I said “can you both link up and place your palms on Collette and me”. After the attunement, Collette was working perfectly and I thanked the two ladies profusely!!! By the way Collette always had the name PSYCHOSYNTHESIS even before this incident.

I started getting colourful visions of the beings of machines.  I was able to draw so, by putting all my heart, body, mind and spirit into it, I created colourful charts including the names of the machines e.g. Alexander the Great giant photocopier and Boris the bookbinder machine. These small drawings were stuck to the machines.

I even did the same with the carpet. One night I was meditating on a torn part of the carpet and found out how to repair it. I was physically in tears as I associated it with human feelings of being torn apart in relationships. In a way the rumour was right, I was having a heartfelt relationship with everything in the collating department.

I don’t have many photos from that time and this one may look like a boring photo but it means a lot to me. The planet earth was our baby at Findhorn Publications and the famous little clock was my favourite teacher on timelessness!!

In the midst of all this Rue and Timothy Hass got inspired and encouraged me to create a newspaper size Rainbow Bridge!!! And I got to be a blog writer called Smiling Chin or Smelly Chin!!

APPLYING RAINBOW BRIDGE TO CLEAN UP GROUPS

At some point Irene passed me the ball to become the focaliser for kitchen clean up (KP), 7 groups on 7 days with 7 different colourful beings dancing with all the machines in the kitchen!! Wow was there a riot of light beings floating and dancing in the Community Centre.

I started seeing these colourful beings as SMILING!! One day I was in the toilet of the caravan beside the Community Centre and saw a smiling being coming out of my shit!! I also saw them in puddles on the road, smiling beings smiling at me!!!

These experiences continued after I left Findhorn and I have even discovered smiling money beings!!! But that’s another story – on prosperity and smiling beings.

*) Rainbow Bridge – Meaning
At the time in my life when I joined Findhorn I was also a student of the Alice Bailey Theosophy School. The unifying of consciousness of higher and lower, inner and outer is called The Anthakarana or Rainbow Bridge.

I believe in this so much that even after leaving Findhorn I carried on this work and education by creating The Rainbow Tai Chi Chi Kung School that has helped people find their balance and greater health. This school had been in existence for 25 years and I have written about this in my book “15 ways to a happier you- Rainbow Tai chi chi kung”

**) Colour science beings of light: The Taoist philosophy is the best esoteric scientific way to explain what I have discovered about yin/feminine and yang/masculine and Tao/creative colour light beings. These beings are able to help human creativity reach unknown potential. I continued to experiment with this over decades while working with businesses and this work brought prosperity to those companies.

In my books there are many examples of drawings of colour science beings of light. This is one example I drew in 2001:
