Dear Community
Our Community remains strong and resilient as we find creative ways to connect during these extraordinary times. Most of you know about the CCC/Caring Community Circle, the main hub operating at The Park (and nearby Kinloss and Findhorn Village).
Some know about the Forres & Area Caring Community Circle (FCCC) as you have signed up to our Mailing List and joined us for one of our gatherings, the most recent in February at Cluny. Our Focus Team (Barbara Vincent, Terri Guest, Marcus Lindner, Will Russell and myself, Leona) would like to invite any of you who live in the Forres (& Area) who have not already joined, to now join our Circle as during ‘this pandemic time’ it is useful to know where your Community neighbours are.
Who & What We Are:
*A Community Awareness Hub for current and former Findhorn Foundation Community ‘members’ and ‘co-workers’, present and past participants in Findhorn Foundation programmes (‘Friends of the Community’) as well as other sympathetic members of the local public who have serious ties with Our Community—an inclusive membership!
*A Personal Support Network for the aforesaid, including both ‘the practical’ and ‘the emotional/spiritual.’
*FCCC keeps a simple Mailing List that consists of (to-date) name, area of Forres+ email address. Most if not all on our Mailing List are NFA members. As guided and necessary, informative email mailouts are sent and gatherings organized. We are of course, a work-in-progress!
*For some of us, this gathering of like-minded/spirited Community-linked people is a portal to building the ‘City of Light’ as foretold by Findhorn Foundation Community co-founder Eileen Caddy.
The FCCC is a ‘wing’ of the CCC which operates under the auspices of the Park Ecovillage Trust (Findhorn Ecovillage Community Benefit Charity and is a Company Limited by Guarantee, registered in Scotland as Company No: SC354855 and Charity No: SC041279 with Registered Office: 45 The Park, Findhorn, Forres IV36 3TZ.
