DANCE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD
For many decades the name Anna Barton was one with Findhorn Sacred Dances. She was the main Sacred Dance focaliser at Findhorn from 1979 until 1996 and went abroad to teach Sacred Sance independently.
“I stopped dancing in 1996, when I was 60, because of the changes. It got too big for me. The courses got upgraded with CDs and computers and I could not do that. Then Peter Vallance took over. When I stopped I hoped I could get back to it. I can still teach but not dance. I would fall over.
“Lately I have been wearing my Sacred Dance T-shirt again, after a long time. The T-shirt, which I designed and sold many of, says, Dance can help to change the world. Let’s do it!”

Born in England, Anna came to Findhorn with her husband Dick and their children. Anna was also an artist, poet, lover of puzzles, a story writer/teller, singer, knitter, gardener, leg puller and so much more.
