I first came to Findhorn around 1986 as I was looking for a family and a community. I did not stay, but kept coming back for the winter gatherings and conferences. As part of the Digital Story telling course in late 2022 with Daniel Greenberg, I looked though old photos of my near 50 year journey and created a video. I am grateful to Findhorn for being a soft place to fall, but also a reminder of what is possible.
Sue tells her story of creating community in her life, and how her experiences in the Community at Findhorn have contributed to that. She developed it in an online workshop with Daniel Greenberg and shared this story during the 60th Birthday Celebrations in November 2022.

I live in the deep south of Portugal, near the Spanish border. I write, paint, sing and find myself more grateful each day. I am a Findhorn Resource Person in Southern Portugal.
In a different life I worked at IBM, Ecosaurus and the Community Development Foundation. I also worked as a VSO consultant. I had some involvement with the Consultancy group in Findhorn.
