ARTIST IN COMMUNITY

In 2002 I came to live here in one of the new ecohouses to start work as a full-time artist. I had spent 20 years occasionally painting in watercolours but alongside a number of life changes and synchronicities between 1999 and 2002 I was given the unmistakable sense that my new life path included being a full-time watercolour artist. Following a trip to Brazil with my wife Marilza in 2001, I found myself painting in a way that my eyes found far more appealing than anything I had done before. This was such a sudden change that it truly made me wonder.

My business often takes me outside the Findhorn Community and all over this beautiful country of Scotland. It is remarkable and inspiring to live among so many creative people and alongside the exciting creative energy of the Moray Art Centre. As a result of proximity and inspiring relationships I was involved with other artists in creating the Artists’ Trail in The Park. Our studios are open and welcome visitors all year round.
