A Humane Architecture: Photographs by Edwin Smith

We also did an exhibition on the photographer Edwin Smith (1912–1971), through the Royal Institute of British Architects, London.

Edwin Smith is widely celebrated as one of Britain’s greatest mid-century architectural and landscape photographers, famous for his atmospheric, masterly use of natural light documenting English vernacular and monumental architecture.

These prints were the very last prints made from the original negatives.
