‘Foundations of Findhorn’ – both for the 50th and 40th Birthday the community created a series of events to recount our history to each other. Panels of members shared their stories about certain aspects of community life. Information-packed, heart-filled evenings left lasting impressions on many of us.

For the 60th Birthday we are standing on the shoulders of those. We are co-creating a living document of our community’s legacy, made evergreen as it will be on a website. Community members past and present will be invited to contribute their own personal stories of the many different aspects of the past 60 years to form our collective autobiography. And of course in future the stories can be added as they happen. A people’s history by and for each other, a gift to the world to share in our community experience, as we invite them ‘around the fireside’ to take part in our story telling.
