Jan and I were visiting White Lodge, the home of our teacher, Ronald Beesley in early 1968. He never came to Findhorn yet he knew what was evolving here. He gave us the address of his solicitor, Bob Copley, who worked with spiritual values and suggested we contact him. Bob came to visit us and he set up the Findhorn Trust. This included a 21 year lease with the site owner, Captain Gibson, of the buildings we had erected such as the education office and the new sanctuary. This feat was quite remarkable for a mobile home park. The rules on a caravan or trailer park were that all inhabited properties have wheels so that they could be easily moved away. Bob gifted us his time to set up this first legal document.

When David Spangler first came to UK in 1969 he stayed with Ronald Beesley. They both were in touch with ‘The White Brotherhood’.
