“It is now more than 45 years since the inception of the Findhorn Community, and the initial pioneering work of co-creation with Nature. The community has grown significantly in size and diversity since then, and now consists of 300-400 people and numerous projects, initiatives and organisations. The essential principles, however, remain the same, and are the glue that holds the diverse community together. Those principles, of being guided by the inner presence of spirit, and that work is love in action, are applied not only in the gardens, but in all the myriad different activities that have developed here. In doing so, community members today are each part of this ongoing experiment in creating a model for a new human culture that is based on spiritual values and a renewed respect for the Earth and all life.”
