On 26th June 2022 we celebrated in song all the things we cherish in our shared humanity. Songs of our love for our children, our freedom, and the courage to defend that which we cherish, the pain of loss, keeping hope alive in adversity and our reverence for the Divine in all things.
Tradition bearers, master piper Allan MacDonald, and Nana Mzhavanadze from Georgia were joined by Community Choirs Sounds Deep and Forres Big Choir. Together we weaved song and story, singing in Scots, Georgian, Ukrainian and German to raise our collective voices for Peace and for an end to all suffering in Ukraine.
