I came to know about The Findhorn Garden through an experiment with a well-known and usually very deceptive and trivial phenomenon: the ouija or planchette.
A captive audience of over 50 people filled Cullerne House to hear reflections on the Community's early years from John Willoner (arrived 1967), Craig Gibsone (1968) and Jonathan Caddy (1962). Full of great anecdotes, they gave a sense of the immense energy of the time.
When I came across it in my own 'early days' here in the mid 1970's it inspired me to realise the greater significance of what was (is?) happening here, effectively modelling the transformation process. It also evoked a planetary vision for us.
