Findhorn Foundation Archivist’s Note 2017: As interest grew in the experiment happening in the Findhorn garden so it was felt necessary to have some sort of introduction to the work there. A series of individual papers were printed (parts 1 – 4) as separate booklets. These were then drawn together in the first publication of the Findhorn Garden. That book grew in the early 1970s to a full scale book with glossy photos, based on the papers you see before you.
I have been unable to find a date for this publication but the inclusion of part 4 indicates it was after September 1969. Mike Scott’s Timeline notes the publication under the year 1969 and states there were 600 visitors that year.
With an extensive introduction from Sir George Trevelyan placing the Garden in the context of an awakening consciousness within humanity, this beautifully illustrated publication represents the energy that was moving in the Findhorn Trust (as it was then).
We experience the direct and thrilling experience of working with the elementals and Devas as well as the practical information of how the experiment began.
