THE PURPOSE OF THE FINDHORN FOUNDATION.
You must know what your specific work is here in this centre of Light and then carry it out. Each centre will be different and have a different aspect of the work to fulfil.
- The work of this centre is to usher in the New Age,
- to raise the vibrations by the awareness of the Christ Consciousness within each one,
- to find contact with Me,
- to create Light and more Light and radiate it out,
- to bring down My Kingdom on earth and see it start right here and go out and out to the four corners of the earth.
- to know with that inner knowing that all things are possible and see the impossible become possible.
- to create wholeness, oneness;
- to bring unity in diversity.
Eileen Caddy 1971
It is important that the purpose and function of the community be kept in mind; that you are each here to demonstrate the reality of the spiritual nature of man and of its possibilities and potentials when released through an attuned consciousness and through action guided through intuition, love and wisdom.
The brotherhood that will be anchored here in form will only be secondarily a brotherhood of teaching, that is, a centre where people can gain hidden or mystery knowledges. We are not interested at this point in giving out secret knowledge. It must be a brotherhood of action, dedication through service, through love and awareness, educators in the greater sense.
Saint Germain (through David Spangler) Rokoczi and the Brotherhood. 1971
Keep this centre alive, dynamic, pliable, flexible, yet strong and sturdy. Never let it become rigid or it will snap under the pressures of the new. This is a challenge for wisdom, for openness, for responsibility and the courage to take freedom when freedom is necessary. As this centre expands it will become increasingly difficult to integrate people into it if the integration is not there as part of your consciousness. Therefore in all ways – this brotherhood is one of them – we seek to promote integration and to bring you to that state when you live in oneness not necessarily with each other; you live in the oneness that is the reality of your being and then those who come will be enfolded by this or they will be repelled by it under their own motivations. The solution to the problem of a quantity of people is quality of consciousness.
John (through David Spangler) The Melchizedek Priesthood. 1971.
Findhorn comes under the influence of a note and energy which is the ray of synthesis (7th ray). Therefore the brotherhood forming here is the brotherhood of synthesis and will have as its purpose the fostering of the spirit of communion, of wholeness, of oneness of synthesis, the spirit of brotherhood itself. All who embody this ideal into action become part of the brotherhood on some level. The purity and clarity of their soul and being and the attunement will determine. the level. This brotherhood
cannot be confused with outer form, though it may take an outer form in time for its own purposes. It does not have ritual, though it may evolve ritual of a certain kind to fulfill its purposes, born of its need and its desire.
The one you know as St. Germain in his higher aspects is a manager or an executive of this brotherhood, but he is not the supreme executive. He is however the particular point of focus which will overlight this centre and work with you for some time to come. We make such distinctions only in order to communicate to you that there is more involved than pure seventh ray activity. Otherwise there are no distinctions on our level. We all serve the One who is the One in all.
David Spangler’s Higher Self. The Meaning of the Brotherhood. 1971
I extend unto you each love and I greet you nominally as St. Germain, but in point of interest as the greater identity Lord of the Seventh Ray, which is the ray of synthesis and of blended and co-operative activity.
The Seventh Ray represents the ability to work together in co-operation through understanding the patterns of each other .
…….you are faced with the necessity of performing in the microcosm what the brotherhood is faced with performing upon the planet as a whole, which is the synthesis and blending of many varied cultures.
You are here to demonstrate the quality of the new civilisation which is its ability to blend disparate elements, and to create an atmosphere of harmony in which co-operation can occur; and to do so you will need to establish a median pattern.
Love, awareness of what is right and appropriate in the moment depending on the situation one is within, a desire to give, to go beyond self, these are the elements so much a part of the ray upon which I work, and vital to its success. You must demonstrate what you have to offer and not compromise it to please the public.
Saint Germain ( through David Spangler) New Culture. 1971
But this centre now becomes transformed increasingly into the light and dispensation which I bring and nothing will prevent it. But it places upon each of you, now, a call to co-operation with me beyond any that has been given you. For that which I bring to Earth cannot be embodied by a being but only by a united brotherhood working together.
The Christ (through David Spangler) 1971.
Part of the role of Findhorn is to demonstrate that the earth is not a simple system. It is in itself an ashram, a community, a school, an ecology, and you do not have to choose between them; you choose that which overlights and embraces them, the dynamic integration in which at one moment you may need to be a teacher or student, headmaster, or hierophant, in the next moment citizen, gardener, nurturer at one moment powerful, and at another moment vulnerable, until all these moments become one moment and you can live in the spirit that transcends and unites these varying stages and forms. To attempt to decide which is the right pattern is to address yourself to the challenge of transition from one larval stage to another, it is to fall to address yourself to the greater identity which requires both.
At the heart of your community is its spiritual center, what I will call a planetary ashram, planetary not in the sense of vastness or scope but in the sense of being all-inclusive. An ashram whose spirituality emerges from work; co-operative work between the kingdoms of life that share this planet. Good and clear work, excellence in labour, love in action. These are the spiritual principles and disciplines of this planetary ashram to root and anchor yourselves. And from that womb, from that centre that still exists,
emerges the school.
John (through David Spangler) 1979
These are critical times for all concerned. The world situation is critical, this country’s situation is critical and this group situation also. I tell you yet again that there must be complete harmony and unity within the group so that those outside can batter hard but Will find no weak links through which to cause havoc. This release of Cosmic Power is bound to affect souls in many ways, bringing out the best in some and the worst in others, depending on the way they respond.
From God Spoke to Me. Eileen Caddy.
GUIDANCE RECEIVED CONCERNING HOW TO LIVE
HERE AS A MEMBER OF THE FINDHORN FOUNDATION
For any who feel fear, or pressure, or doubt, or any form of limitation upon themselves, my being within them will act irresistibly. I will hold you and I will shake you and I will so penetrate your being that you will cry for release, for I am the will of the Christ and I am without mercy. For the time now is for you each to be at one with this splendour; the peace, the beauty, the love and the light that is Within you, that you are, and I will accept nothing less, for in this way I am truly the spirit of mercy and compassion. I see you in perfection and I will not allow the personality you to hold you to imperfection.
I exist on all your levels and I demand expression on all those levels. I will not tolerate any action of consciousness that is not gracious unto itself, that does not foster peace, that does not promote wholeness within and wholeness without. You must each rise to be masters of love and wisdom. You must cast aside the concept of time and saying, ‘I am not worthy yet’, for I say unto you the time is past. I am here. I claim this centre for my work and it shall come unto me, and if any cannot come unto me within themselves and be freed, and be whole, then they will not remain in this centre. It does not matter who they are.
None of you will be free until you have freed yourself to the glory that is within you, and are at one with me. Help each other to do this. Do not sympathise. Do not live vicariously the patterns of others. Do not seek in them what is the answer to a need in your own being. For as you are each freed, you will free each other. Do this in love and joy and live the spirit of fun, the spirit of rejoicing, and relax and release and prepare to move at breathtaking swiftness into the new.
The Christ (through David Spangler) Transmutations in the Community. 1971
People will go through cleansing and have experiences of a healing nature or of the nature of having qualities from the past brought to the surface, but this should not be an aspect on which consciousness dwells for it is not your function. Such stages should be entered and moved through with as much help as can be provided, that wisdom can be gained and the portals of consciousness open for the next step. Individuals who insist on moving through difficulties of a personal nature on a personality level without
showing forms of growth in which they can deal with these increasingly from an inner centre of strength and a light will find that their relationship to the community will be diminished. It may only be diminished for a time until they are able to sort themselves out; or it may be diminished to such an extent that they are compelled to leave.
St. Germain (through David Spangler) Rokoczi and the Brotherhood. 1971
But you are each undergoing transformation of consciousness, some of you more swiftly than others. This is not necessarily a sign of spiritual advancement only that some must move ahead and other must remain behind to balance and protect those who move into the vulnerabilities of new awareness. As they become stabilised they can then assist the others up and so it goes.
The young ones who come, many of them, are creators of the future, the seeds of the New Age. They come with consciousnesses prepared to unfold to great heights. They will do this within the nourishment of this centre. But remember this, the child to fulfil itself grows in directions different than the parents; and in a way as this centre expands it will always be undergoing transformation, old patterns falling away and new ones taking their place. This will come about gradually in some cases, swiftly in others,
but know that the young ones who come – while they can be given and should be given a structure around which to build – cannot actually be moulded. They must be given the structure to support themselves in wisdom and in love, but often they will provide the direction for the transformation of that structure.
John (through David Spangler) The Melchizedek Priesthood. 1971
What is important is what can be called the grace and nobility of living is common to all classes of people …… .And the nobleness of the spirit expresses itself in love, in awareness, in understanding, in wisdom, and in the ability to put others first above self through sheer graciousness of being. This is what the people in this community, each one of you, must learn to cultivate and draw forth from yourself, for that is the basis of civilisation.
The civilisation that I invoke, and which I expect you to manifest, is not based on etiquette but is based on consciousness.
St. Germain (through David Spangler) New Culture 1971
Your work is to create the new heaven and new earth. Therefore do not dwell on the troubles and tribulations, on the disease and suffering, on the wars and strife in the world. Do not allow yourself to become involved in it, for if you do, you will become part part of the disease and not the cure. As you raise your consciousness, you become immunised against the trouble in the world, and you can live and work with it all about you and yet it will not be able to touch you or affect you in any way. A doctor or nurse has to be immunised to be able to work freely with highly infectious diseases, and there must be no fear in them. Let there be no fear in you as you watch the situation in the world become worse. Never despair. Simply hold on in faith, let your mind be stayed on Me, and know that all is very, very well.
from OPENING DOORS WITHIN. Eileen Caddy
All who come to this centre must be prepared to give up all of their past, past modes of behaviour, to change and transform. Unless this is so they have no reason to be in this centre, however great their other contributions may be.
John (through David Spangler) Laws of Manifestation. 1972
The goal is the ability to be, to love where one is, with whom one is and what one is doing, because one is and can see the magic of that being.
St. Germain (through David Spangler) June 1971
