About Laura Shannon

Laura Shannon has devoted her life to traditional women’s circle dances and their innate healing qualities. Living in Findhorn and Greece, she teaches worldwide and publishes widely on Sacred Dance.

Areas of involvement with the Findhorn Foundation Community: Sacred Dance including many community performances; live music; Middle Eastern Garden spiritual dance practice for women; co-focalised various FF brochure workshops with Peter Vallance, Barbara Swetina, May East; ran B&B in Rose of the Heart for 7 years.

List of publications: Edited the book 'String of Pearls: Celebrating 40 years of Sacred Dance in the Findhorn Community' (Sarsen Press, 2016). Many scholarly articles and book chapters on Sacred Dance.
