About Avalon Santos Willmott
I grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. I then lived in Paris for 2.5 years working in adverting.Over time, I became frustrated with advertising. At the time, I was working predominantly on services and products that I didn’t believe in and were potentially harmful to the environment. It was a real challenge for me to work out of integrity.
This led to exploring more ethical ways of living and working, and in 2006, I did Experience Week. I then came back and did The Essence of the Arts 3 month programme and I never left. I met my husband, Holly Willmott (who grew up on Erraid) in the CC in 2007 and we now live in Forres with 3 beautiful children.
