“All who come to this centre must understand what they are entering. For the Foundation will always be a centre of pressure, because it is a centre of spiritual experience. That which creates the pressure, however, is in essence the conflict between spirit and inertia or habit. As this becomes increasingly resolved, pressure disappears. Psychologically, this means that the conflict is born between the intent of the soul, as it reflects the will of the inner God, conflicting with the resistance of the more sluggish and conditioned nature of the personality. As the personality learns to blend itself into its soul, surrendering its will to the will of its higher perceptions, the pressure diminishes.”
