Community Connections

Stories to connect us – locally and globally

This page introduces some of the areas you can access from the Community Connections menu above: our Newsletter and how to receive it; how you can Join In the Community’s activities, from near or far; and how to Contact Us. For more details, read on.

There is a great deal happening this year with both the anniversary year events and the History Project, and this is where you’ll be able to find out about them. But bear in mind, in addition, that it’s a two-way street! We welcome your contributions too.

The purpose of Community Connections is to set up a two-channel between you and the Findhorn Foundation Community. Our aim is to make contact with everyone with a Community connection – whether you live in the Community, live nearby or are anywhere else in the world. Our primary method of letting you know what’s happening here is the Newsletter for which you can sign up, to receive each edition via email as soon as it’s available.

In addition, we would love to hear from you. You can Join In by engaging with the rich tapestry of Community Activities. Other organisations in the Community have their on newsletters and activities; there is a wide range of Facebook groups you can participate in; and much more. The list is growing all the time, and an increasing number of activities are online, so you can participate in Community practices, events and education from almost anywhere. And of course, if you organise a Community-related activity yourself, do let us know so that we can include it in the list.

If you don’t live here, have you considered visiting us? As we hopefully enter a world where Covid is less of a threat than it was in the past, we have re-started a range of activities here.

It’s quite likely that there are other people with a Community connection in your part of the world. Several regions have a Findhorn Community Resource person who can link you up with others in your region who have a strong Findhorn connection. And even if there is no RP nearby, there may well be other people with a Community connection, and we may be able to help put you in touch.

Meanwhile, the History Project – the Community’s autobiography – is an endeavour to which all our members, past and present, may make a contribution. Please join and Tell Us Your Story.

We are always happy to hear from you, so feel free to Contact Us.
